What began with a grandfather who served as a judge and a grandmother who practised civil and family law has continued through Advocate Prasad Kanekar, who for over 37 years has guided families, landowners, businesses, and housing societies across Mumbai and Thane through redevelopment, property, civil, and family court matters — as well as legal consultancy for enterprises and banks.
Today, that legacy continues into a third generation — trained in modern legal and compliance disciplines — carrying forward the same values of diligence, discretion, and local expertise that have defined the practice from the start.
Specialises in redevelopment, property, civil, and cooperative society law across Mumbai and Thane. Has also served as legal consultant to enterprises and banks, with prior senior in-house legal roles at Tata Motors, Ambuja Cements, and Allanasons before moving into independent legal consultancy in 2015.
